Prerequisites

UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPH) offers the Visiting Fellowship in ECT course to practicing psychiatrists, and trainees from psychiatric residency programs with appropriate clinical credentials.

University of Pittsburgh Department of Psychiatry Residents and Fellows will participate in the didactic sessions during the Visiting Fellowship but will complete their practical experiences at other mutually suitable times. This decreases congestion in the ECT Treatment Suite during the Visiting Fellowship week.

Fellowship Dates

The fellowship will be offered during the following dates:

2024

May 6-10, 2024 (2 RN slots available)
July 15-19, 2024 (2 RN slots available)
October 7-11, 2024 (2 RN slots available)

2025*

Feb 10-14, 2025
May 12-16, 2025
July 14-18, 2025
October 20-24, 2025

Registering for the Fellowship

To apply, please complete our Visiting Fellowship in ECT registration form.

Full tuition must accompany registration form. Please return your registration form 3 weeks prior to selected fellowship start date. A $100 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds for cancellations. No refunds can be issued once the program has begun.
