Pathways

Two specialized training pathways are offered in the Department of Psychiatry: 1) The Academic Administrator Clinician Educator (AACE) Track which fosters the development of residents as leaders in clinical care, medical education, and clinical administration; and 2) the Psychiatry Research Pathway (PRP) which enables residents to simultaneously receive clinical training and pursue their passion for research.

Training Opportunities

Three other training opportunities exist for residents, including an initiative to reduce the risk of resident burnout, a longitudinal curriculum to address racism within medicine and psychiatry, and an area of concentration to promote consideration of a career in women’s mental health.
