The Department of Psychiatry Announces the 2022 Psychiatry Residency Match Results

The Department of Psychiatry is delighted to announce results of the 2022 Residency Match for the General Psychiatry, Child, Triple Board, and Family Medicine/Psychiatry tracks.

“Every year we are excited and proud to welcome a new group of doctors into our work family and the training programs at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. We really want to thank everyone who has helped us to create and maintain this awesome clinical learning environment as we strive towards equity and inclusion for all,” said Michael Travis, MD (Senior Director for Postgraduate Physician Training). “Over the last three years, we have been intentional in our recruitment and retention efforts to enhance the diversity of our training program to better reflect the wonderful diversity of our city and our country.
