Save the Date! Department of Psychiatry to Host Its 18th Annual Research Day on June 7, 2018

Be sure to mark your calendars and join us on Thursday, June 7, 2018 when the Department of Psychiatry will host its 18th Annual Research Day at the University Club on the Oakland campus.

Research Day highlights the diverse research taking place in the Department and celebrates the many accomplishments of our outstanding faculty, trainees and staff. The program features a morning poster session highlighting the work of over 100 investigators as well as the popular Speed Dat(a)ing session with presentations by some of the Department's most talented early career research faculty. Lunchtime Roundtable Discussions led by our faculty experts offer insight and practical advice on current research topics that will help investigators take the next step in their research careers. The event also offers plenty of opportunities to network and share your research interests, and to reconnect with colleagues throughout the day. The event regularly attracts over 400 participants from the Department and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic community.

Details regarding Research Day will be posted to the Events page of our website as planning for the event progresses. You may also email the Department's Director of Academic Affairs, Jeanie Knox Houtsinger, with general questions about this event.
