What Can You Do When Traditional Treatments Don't Work?

Join us for a special virtual session on Teams by the Center for Interventional Psychiatry of UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. 

Led by LalithKumar K. Solai, MD, medical director, and members of the Center for Interventional Psychiatry at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, these sessions will review services available to care for your patients with difficult-to-treat conditions:

  • Treatment resistant depression, mania, and schizophrenia

  • Catatonia

  • Neuroleptic malignant syndrome

  • Obsessive compulsive disorder

Specialized treatments for qualifying patients include electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), deep brain stimulation (DBS), esketamine intranasal therapy (EsKIT), and ketamine infusion therapy (KIT).
