On October 17, 2025 we invite you to join us for the first Clinical Psychopharmacology Grand Rounds of the academic year. Gina Perez, MD and her colleague Ana Lupu, PharmD will explore current approaches to obesity management in psychiatry.
Gina Perez, MD is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She serves as the Associate Chief for the UPMC Behavioral Health Network and Telepsychiatry.
Ana Lupu, PharmD works as a clinical pharmacist at Forbes Pharmacy of UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, providing medication management services for patients with serious mental illness. Her areas of focus are medication education, adherence counseling, diabetes education, and smoking cessation counseling.
