Watch Your 6: Six Ways Health Professionals Can Improve Their Security at Work and at Home

On October 10, 2025 we'll welcome Drs. Jack Rozel and Priyanka Amin for a special Clinical Grand Rounds focusing on how health care professionals can improve their security at home and in the workplace.

Priyanka Amin, MD, is the medical director of patient safety with UPMC Western Behavioral Health, which comprises UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, UPMC medical hospitals providing psychiatric care, and outpatient behavioral health clinics. She is recognized as an expert in  emergency psychiatry and has been actively engaged in numerous initiatives to improve safety for patients and healthcare providers. 

Jack Rozel, MD, MSL, serves as medical director of resolve Crisis Services, which provides immediate access to mental health care in Allegheny County, offering individuals in crisis a critical alternative to hospital emergency room care. His clinical focus is treating and managing individuals requiring emergency mental health services in the community. In addition, Dr. Rozel is a nationally recognized expert on firearm injury prevention, crisis management, and workplace violence. He frequently consults on complex cases and high-profile incidents regionally and nationally, and has received national awards recognizing his clinical acumen in these highly sensitive areas.

The indicated number of clock hours of continuing education is provided through UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital’s Office of Educational Resources and Planning, a PA-approved provider of social work continuing education in accordance with all the applicable educational and professional standards of the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist.
