Increasing evidence suggests that patients diagnosed with cancer have higher rates of sleep problems than the general population.

In this talk, Dr. Steel will describe her team's recent findings regarding the rates and types of sleep problems in patients diagnosed with advanced cancer and their intimate partner caregivers.  She will also examine how these sleep problems contributed to the patients’ prognosis and risk for metabolic abnormalities in the intimate partner caregivers.

Date/Time.  Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4 to 5 p.m.

Location. Starzl Biomedical Science Tower, Room 1295
