Pitt Psychiatry Annual Research Day

featuring the latest research from our talented investigators and trainees

On June 9, 2022 the Department of Psychiatry will host its Annual Research Day on the Pitt Oakland campus. This important annual event highlights the diverse research taking place in the Department of Psychiatry by our talented faculty, postdoctoral researchers, trainees, and staff. It is also a terrific venue for networking, building new collaborations, and reconnecting with colleagues.

This year we will be hosting the morning poster session in a new location - Soldiers & Sailors Hall in Oakland. All afternoon activities, including the opportunity to participate in lunchtime roundtable discussions, will take place at the University Club. Following lunch, presentations by some of the Department’s talented scientists include a Speed Dat(a)ing session, and two new sessions, The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat: Perspectives on Building a Successful Research Program Despite Inevitable Obstacles and Becoming Your Scientific Parents: Developing from Mentor/Mentee to Partners in Science. A special awards ceremony will take place at the end of the day.
