Annual Clinician Educator Showcase

featuring experts from the Pitt Department of Psychiatry and UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital

The Annual Clinician-Educator Showcase will be held on March 21, 2024 from 11:30am to 4:20pm at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. This special event, hosted by the Department of Psychiatry and UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, celebrates the achievements of our outstanding clinician-educators and clinical staff. Department of Psychiatry faculty, clinicians, staff, residents, medical students, and psychology interns, as well as our colleagues in the Western Psychiatric Hospital community are invited to attend.

Registration is required to attend this event and is now closed. Email confirmations with breakout session assignments will be sent on March 18th.

This year's event will feature:

Poster Session - Showcasing the work of our talented residents, clinical fellows and early career faculty.

Plenary Sessions - Featuring presentations on "The Great Connector: Education across Our Behavioral Health Service Line" and "Perspectives on Leadership for Clinician Educators"

Speed Dat(a)ing Session - Highlighting quality improvement and educational projects conducted by five of our early-career faculty and residents.

Breakout Sessions - Seven interactive breakout sessions on a variety of topics:
