ACNP Awards go to Department Faculty

Department Faculty Recognized by the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology

The American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) has recognized two Department of Psychiatry faculty for their contributions to the field at its recent 49th Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, Florida.

Katherine L. Wisner, MD, MS, Professor of Psychiatry, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and Epidemiology, has been promoted from a member to a fellow by the ACNP. Fellows are chosen from ACNP members who have made substantial contributions to the College and to the field of neuropsychopharmacology.

Ariel Gildengers, MD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, has been appointed an Associate Member of the ACNP.  Membership in the ACNP is by nomination only and candidates must be nominated by ACNP members or fellows.
