Meet the PI Lectures

Dr. Carla Mazefsky received her doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University in clinical psychology after completion of her predoctoral internship at Brown University School of Medicine. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics before joining the faculty in Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2006. In 2009, she moved to the Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Mary Phillips uses multimodal neuroimaging techniques to elucidate functional and structural abnormalities in emotion processing, reward processing and emotional regulation circuitries that are associated with specific psychiatric disorders, and symptom dimensions in individuals with mood and anxiety disorders.

Dr. Tina Goldstein s a licensed psychologist and Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, where she also serves as Director of the NIMH-funded postdoctoral training program for clinical psychologists, Co-Director of the Predoctoral Clinical Psychology Internship Program, and Director of Psychotherapy Training in Pediatric Mood Disorders.
