Join us for a special Clinical Grand Rounds featuring experts from our Community Psychiatry program.

With the evolution of patient-centric care, facility specific clinical management becomes increasingly challenging. This is particularly true for patients with complex trauma who engage in recurrent self-injurious behaviors, and are managed at non-psychiatric clinical sites. In this presentation, we examine a patient with a history of foreign body ingestion who historically utilized services across multiple UPMC facilities.  We explore how we can best function from a system perspective when providing care to individuals with complex patterns of illness.
