Brain-derived Biomarkers in Dementia and Psychoses 

You are invited to a special lecture presented by Dr. Ivana Delalle on March 27th. The lecture will be hosted by Dr. Vishwajit Nimgaonkar and his colleagues in the Program for Genetics and Psychoses. 

Dr. Delalle’s current research focuses on the relationship between potential biomarkers of neuropsychiatric diseases and the underlying neuropathology. In her collaborative work with Boston University neurologists and neuroscientists, she maps the expression of Alzheimer’s Disease associated-risk genes in the human hippocampus. In addition to the research activities, Dr. Delalle is also a neuropathologist at Boston Medical Center and serves as the director of the Neuropathology Elective course for medical students and a graduate course on the use of human tissue in biomedical research at Boston University.
