ADAPT Study Focuses on Addressing Depression and Pain in Older Adults
ADAPT Summer News
The ADAPT study (Addressing Depression And Pain Together), led by Dr. Jordan Karp, is a federally funded clinical trial for older adults living with chronic low back pain and depression. The project aims to determine the best way to reduce pain, improve mood, and enhance overall functioning for older adults living with both of these problems. We invite you to check out the summer edition of the ADAPT newsletter by clicking here.
If you have patients who may benefit from an evaluation or you are interested in learning more about the project, please call the ADAPT project coordinator at 412-246-6006 or visit the program’s web site at www.ADAPTstudy.com.
