Dr. Nasuh Malas

American College of Psychiatrists Selects
Dr. Nasuh Malas for PRITE Fellowship

The American College of Psychiatrists has selected Nasuh Malas, MD, MPH, a Triple Board Resident (Pediatrics/General Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry), as a recipient of a Child PRITE Fellowship for 2013. As part of the fellowship, Dr. Malas will serve as a member of the PRITE Editorial Board and will participate in the question writing process for the exam by developing an assigned number of questions and then editing and referencing exam items.  Dr. Malas will also be a special guest at the College's 2013 Annual Meeting that will take place February 20 - 24, 2013 in Kauai, Hawaii, and will also participate at the next meeting of the PRITE Editorial Board in June 2013 in Essex, Vermont.

Dr. Malas earned a Master's degree in Public Health and his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.  His academic and clinical interests include childhood chronic disease, the impact of psychosocial stressors on child health, and preventive care.  Congratulations to Dr. Malas on his selection for the fellowship!
