Pittsburgh Adolescent Alcohol Research Center investigating links to Trauma

PAARC is looking for children and adolescents, 8 through 18 years and 11 months, who have been exposed to traumatic events including serious family problems and/or child abuse, which may have caused the child problems with their family or school functioning.

Course of Study

The study consists of an interview and self reports with the young person and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan and an interview and self-reports with one parent. Participation in the study is free of charge. PAARC does not provide treatment.
