Gerontology Society of America Awards Fellow Status to Richard Morycz, PhD in Recognition of His Outstanding Service and Contributions to the Field

Richard Morycz, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Medicine, and Social Work, has been awarded fellow status by the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). The Society will formally present Dr. Morycz with this honor at a special awards ceremony on November 14, 2018 at its annual meeting in Boston, MA. 

Fellow status represents the highest class of membership in the organization and acknowledges Dr. Morycz’ s outstanding contributions and ongoing work in the field of gerontology. As a fellow, he will serve as a reviewer and contribute to GSA journals, participate in mentorship activities and serve as a resource for developing scholars and the public, and will participate on a GSA committee.
