From Discrete to Dimensional Models
Jonathan Posner, MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry
After obtaining his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Posner completed his training in adult psychiatry at Columbia University and training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Posner is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University, where he conducts research, teaches, and supervises psychiatry residents. Dr. Posner is using magnetic resonance imaging techniques to examine the neural circuits that underlie attentional and emotional regulation in separate studies of individuals diagnosed with depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
