Research on Aging at the University of Pittsburgh:
Reflections on Three Decades of Accomplishments
Richard Schulz, PhD
Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry
Please join us for an inaugural lecture by Richard Schulz, PhD as we celebrate his appointment to the rank of Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry. This is an important milestone in the career of Dr. Schulz, and also is an honor for the Department of Psychiatry as it constitutes the highest honor that the University can accord a member of the faculty.
Dr. Schulz has played a pivotal role in developing the expertise and infrastructure to support research on aging through recruitment, mentoring junior faculty, providing pilot grant support, and raising the profile of research on aging both locally and nationally. We hope you will join your colleagues for the inaugural lecture by Dr. Schulz and to congratulate him on this important achievement at a reception in his honor following the lecture.
